CDC EXPANDS NEGATIVE COVID-19 TEST REQUIREMENT
To All Air Passengers Entering the United States

Dear Club Solaris Member,

According to the CDC announcement, all air passengers returning to the United States will be required to get a viral test within the 3 days (72 hours) before their flight to the USA departs, and provide written documentation of their laboratory with a negative SARS-CoV2 RNA Not Detected, SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Not Detected, or COVID-19 Not Detected test result (paper or electronic copy) to the airline or provide documentation of having recovered from COVID-19. This new requirement comes into effect on January 26 of this year.

To ensure compliance with this new requirement, we inform you of the measures that Club Solaris has included in its All Care Inclusive Protocols in order to help all Members to plan their stay safe and secure.

How to get your COVID-19 test while visiting Club Solaris


1. COVID-19 ANTIGEN FIA TEST, accepted by the CDC; will be administered on our resorts at no cost for all Members & Guest of Members reserved with Premier All Inclusive Plan and traveling back to USA or any other country who accept the COVID-19 ANTIGEN FIA TEST
Upon check-in, the Member or guest must request an appointment with the medical services desk inside the hotel, to schedule the day and time for the test.
2. For Members & Guest of Members reserved with Runaway VIP rates (Hotel All Inclusive Plan), Traveling back to USA or any other country who accepts the COVID-19 ANTIGEN FIA TEST, approved by the CDC; this test will be administered on our resorts at no cost for up to 2 persons per room with a 5 night minimum stay. Four nights stay or less and/or additional test has an extra cost of $15 USD per person.
Upon check-in, the Member or guest must request an appointment with the medical services desk inside the hotel, to schedule the day and time for the test.
3. Test results will be received within a period of no more than 48 hours, in written format as required by the CDC. Guests should contact the Front Desk at the resort upon arrival to schedule departure testing.

5. All Antigen Tests will carried out by a specialized medical service and certified by the competent authorities for its correct application and safety, results can be ready in less than 24 hours

a) Cancun: In the case, a member receives a positive test while on the property, they must stay for 14 days in a different hotel, assigned and paid by Club Solaris, including one-way transfer, accommodations, and breakfast. The member will cover other food at a special agreed rate of $ 30.00 per day per person, taxes included, plus the departure shuttle.

b) Cabos: If a member receives a positive test while on property, they must stay in the destination. Club Solaris will support our clients with 10 days of stay in a different hotel and one way transfer to the hotel assigned. Food & Beverages will be covered by the guest and will have a 20% of discount. Payment to be made directly at the hotel.

6. For those Members or guests who´s state or country requests the PCR test, it can be provided at an additional cost, results can be ready in 24 hours

a) Cancun: $110.00 USD per test
b) Cabo: $225.00 USD per test
7. If any Member or guest of member results in a positive case, preventing departure, Club Solaris will proceed with the application of protocols to take care of the member

a) Cancun: In the case, a member receives a positive test while on the property, they must stay for 14 days in a different hotel, assigned and paid by Club Solaris, including one-way transfer, accommodations, and breakfast. The member will cover other food at a special agreed rate of $ 30.00 per day per person, taxes included, plus the departure shuttle.
b) If a member receives a positive test while on property, they must stay in the destination. Club Solaris will support our clients with 10 days of stay in a different hotel and one way transfer to the hotel assigned. Food & Beverages will be covered by the guest and will have a 20% of discount. Payment must be made directly at the hotel. Unused nights at Club Solaris property will not be refunded.
c) If the guest decides to choose a property not assigned by Club Solaris or wants to rent a vacation home to pass the quarantine, we will gladly assist to book that type of accommodation and the guest will cover the costs of the stay. In this case a certificate will be issued to the guest for the unused nights of their stay.

There will be concierge service available to assist the guest to change flights if applicable and depending of the airline policy for changes and reservations. The hotel will inform the family continually about the health condition of the guest.

8. Upon further review Aeromexico airlines, is no longer validating the tests made at our resorts to travel abroad, we would recommend you to take them outside at a Farmacias del Ahorro or Salud Digna labs, this new measurement is outside of The Solaris Resorts and we can´t provide a refund, since this service was complementary for members.
