Open Surf in Los Cabos

When we think of the beach we imagine the waves, the sun, and soft sand, all this on a hot day, which is complemented by the fresh water of the sea, no doubt an image of a paradisiac destination comes to mind.

And the best thing we can do in a place like this is undoubtedly fun, and if you like to have fun in the waves of the beach, surf or just have a good time, keep reading, because this blog is for you.

In Los Cabos, there is an event that takes place annually, being this its 4th edition, this event is known as "Los Cabos Open Of Surf." This event is brought to this beautiful destination, where international level athletes compete to know who gets the first place prize, and the best thing is that this competition is open to the public.

This event is not only about competitions, but during the days its held June 21-22, there are parties, exhibitions, dinners, and much more.

The fun begins

June 21st

On this day an exhibition of surfing equipment was opened to the public, where you could see the various teams of recognized brands, surfboards that belonged to famous sportsmen. People who went to the exhibition could meet in person the different competitors, celebrities and others, such as Rob Machado Conkin, Sage Erickson & Anastasia Ashley among others, which are great athletes from the world of surfing.

At the same time, Casa Oaxaca, a well-known restaurant in Cabo San Lucas, had a 5-course dinner (additional cost), where dishes inspired by the colors, views, and beauty of the Sea of Cortez were served, as well as the delicious flavors of Mexico. From the moment people arrived, everyone could feel that they were in the best party since the Lobby Bar was enlivened by DJ Sam Blacky, as well there were some unique cocktails for the occasion.

June 22nd

During the afternoon of this day, starting at 12:30 pm, the surf competition finals were held where Mitch Coleborn and Josh Kerr competed to take the Soft Top Soiree title and the 5,000 USD prize.

While this competition was taking place, in the surroundings there were food stations of different restaurants which prepared food inspired by the cuisines of Mexico, where the people who enjoyed this event could eat as much as they could (Additional Cost).

To close the public event at 10 pm, the party with the Musicians "Airplane and Capri" arrived, just as unique cocktails were served for the event (Additional Cost).

During this time, all the people who were present without a doubt had a great time, as well as they could meet the contestants and international competitors who came to participate and to see this incredible show.
