Celebrating Father's Day with the Solaris Family

Father's Day occurs during the third Sunday of June, during this date, all parents are celebrated, those who strive every day to give the best to their family and their children.

This day is when they are appreciated and show more affection to those who protect us and guide us during our growth, and who care for the most important person, our mother.

Moreover, this celebration was undoubtedly carried out in the hotels of the Solaris Family, where parents, children, mothers, and even close friends of the family could join in celebrating this special occasion.

Celebrating Dad at Club Solaris Cabos

At the beginning of the day in Los Cabos, the popes in the pool areas and those who were having breakfast at Rosmarinus and Café Solaris were visited by Pancho and the animation team, who made sure to congratulate them and be happy as they began their day.

After this, many of the children of the present parents approached the main pool, where the animation team was waiting for them, because they will read poems that they had prepared to dedicate them to their parents, without a doubt it was a special moment.

After reading the poems, the families were awaited at the beach, where they had a particular activity, so they had fun; On the 16th of June the International Sea Turtle Day was also celebrated, on the beach, a contest of sculptures of Sand of Turtles was held.

In this event families competed with each other to see who could make the best sand sculpture; the animation team lent them tools for children with whom they could make the best turtle, and of course, the winner would be given a prize.

When the winner was decided, and many of the people who participated were tired, the hotel chefs were waiting for them behind the main pool with a delicious meal.

Grilled hamburgers with cheese were waiting for everyone, which were prepared by our best chefs, accompanied by French fries. There was also a salad bar where they could find the perfect topping, such as freshly cut purple onions, fresh tomatoes and lettuce, pickled jalapeños, among many pluses. They had all the necessary ingredients to have a delicious meal, and all this could be accompanied by drinks that could be found at the bars of the hotel.

When arriving at noon in Los Cabos, after enjoying a delicious meal, the families gathered to have the main activity, where the animation team had the "Super Dad" contest ready for them.

In this contest, the parents in the company of their children would be put to the test in a competition of strength, value, and Style!

The dads showed their strength by doing lizards with their children on their backs, their courage to swim through the pool and Style by doing their best dance and superhero pose.

The competition was timed, so they will compete to complete each test as soon as possible, and the winner would, of course, be given a round of applause and a prize.

Undoubtedly, this day was one of the best occasions to enjoy as a family and celebrate the Family Father.

The Celebration continued in Cancun

Every year, we also celebrate the kings of the House, aka DAD, with a party according to the Vikings theme with delicious food and drinks that our staff prepared especially for that day.

We started the day very early, with our beloved Pancho in Viking mode, who toured all the areas to take pictures with the children, and also with the dads.

Throughout the day we had activities specially designed for them, such as a Viking BBQ and a lot of beer, while their favorite songs were played in the background by our local DJs.

The kids also participated in this special day, since being in the kids club, they were in charge of making and decorating various artifacts that they later gave to their parents as a surprise in the pool, while they relaxed completely, within the things that they decorated, they were a Viking helmet, they made some wax hands, and a letter with the 5 things that they love about their fathers.

That was not all, we also had activities for them, like a crazy ball game, very similar to hot potato, but in Solaris style, and even a soccer tournament. All this while a live rock band played on the stage of the Royal Solaris Cancun pool.

At night, the pool was completely transformed into a different scenario, the lounge chairs were removed and chairs and tables were assembled, to have a special dinner / show for our members, where everyone participated, the Gala dinner of our members had a memorable celebration.

The show featured acts of jugglers, acrobats, and fire breathers, which together with a delicious dinner prepared by our chefs, became the perfect event, oh and by the way, did I told you that we had another group playing live music for them during this wonderful evening.

With this once again, we closed another year of special celebrations, where we continue to demonstrate that Club Solaris is the place to enjoy all these celebrations in the company of our loved ones.
